The type of timber framed building project we’re best suited to

OK, let’s be frank. We’re probably not right for every project.

Indeed, we’re ill-suited to anyone who’s looking for a full, turn-key architectural and/or building service (because we’re only about the frame). And we’re not a great choice for anyone who wants to pick a standard design from a catalogue (because we don’t have one).

But for almost any other building or self-building scenario, we’d love to be considered – and to have the opportunity to talk about your plans and offer a quote.

The ideal scenario –
if this is you, we really need to talk

  • You aim to build a beautiful, individual, interesting house (or extension, or workspace)
  • You love the look and feel of natural wood (and want it to be a focal point)
  • You have definite ideas about aesthetics and design (the stronger the better)
  • You have a builder or a project manager in mind (or will take this task on yourself)
  • You are interested in the fusion between traditional framing skills and modern energy efficient construction

Again, budget isn’t a prime consideration

We care deeply about affordability, and can almost always craft a frame that fits your budget.

Also, we don’t mind where you project is located. We’ll happily travel hundreds of miles.

Here are some examples of past projects that typify the Castle Ring service:

If you like what you see over here. You should check out our projects page where we’ve featured many of our completed projects across a wide range of different requirements

Do you want a quick quote?
Or to discuss your project?

If you're considering an oak framed building (or larch, or douglas fir), let's talk. We'll gladly put together an outline quote (completely free, with no strings attached). And we need very little information from you to do so.
Equally, we're always here, at the end of the phone, to talk through your ideas.
